Senior Technical Program Manager

Focus: Technical Program Delivery & Platform Integration
Location:
Onsite / Hybrid (Rochester, MN)
Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE)

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead technical, customer-facing software programs and ensure strong execution across platform development, integrations, and real-world deployments. This role is execution-focused and sits at the intersection of engineering delivery, product integration, and customer rollout.

You will own the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex programs with enterprise healthcare and academic partners (e.g., Mayo Clinic), ensuring that deployments are technically sound, operationally scalable, and feed cleanly back into the core product and platform. The emphasis is on making complex work shippable, repeatable, and scalable.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys orchestrating interconnected systems, and takes pride in turning moving parts into reliable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical, software-driven programs, from planning and dependency mapping through execution, release, and validation

  • Own cross-functional execution across engineering, product, design, and content teams, aligning scope, milestones, timelines, and success criteria

  • Drive platform and integration readiness for customer deployments, including integrations with identity and access systems (SSO/IAM), LMS platforms, APIs, data flows, infrastructure, and customer IT environments

  • Translate deployment learnings into clear, actionable inputs for product and engineering, turning client discovery into technical documentation and delivery-ready requirements such as architecture diagrams, integration flows, API documentation, and identified constraints or technical debt

  • Identify, track, and actively manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across concurrent programs

  • Establish and maintain execution artifacts such as program plans, delivery dashboards, RAID logs, release checklists, and retrospectives

  • Partner closely with product, design, and engineering leads to support agile delivery and cross-team coordination

  • Ensure customer-facing programs reinforce platform reuse, scalability, and long-term maintainability

  • Contribute to playbooks, templates, and operating rhythms that improve predictability and execution quality over time

What a Strong Candidate Looks Like

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, software delivery, or complex program execution in an enterprise setting

  • Proven success owning execution for multi-team, software-intensive initiatives (platforms, integrations, enterprise deployments)

  • Deep comfort working with engineering teams and working through systems, dependencies, sequencing, and tradeoffs (without needing to write production code)

  • Strong experience operating in agile or hybrid environments and coordinating work across multiple workstreams

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving clarity amid ambiguity

  • Clear and compelling communicator able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders through shared plans and artifacts

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve and process must scale thoughtfully

  • Experience with healthcare, education, or other regulated enterprise environments strongly preferred

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity delivering cross-platform products spanning desktop, web, and immersive technologies, including Unity-based VR/desktop applications and React-based web front ends

  • Experience supporting platform-, infrastructure-, or integration-heavy systems (e.g., APIs, SDKs, data pipelines, AI/ML services) that power scalable software products

  • Experience with enterprise software delivery and large-scale rollout programs, including integration, validation, and operational readiness

  • Experience working with enterprise security, IT, and compliance teams to gain access to internal systems and support requirements related to data privacy, security reviews, and regulatory or institutional controls

  • Familiarity with immersive technologies (VR/AR) and real-time or complex content pipelines

  • Experience working with academic medical centers, healthcare providers, or other regulated enterprise environments

  • Background in early-stage or scaling tech companies where execution rigor and delivery standards were built alongside the product
